Our Story
It all began with a swipe and a spark on Tinder on November 1st, 2021. Benjamin and Bunmi's journey took flight swiftly, as they embarked on their first date just days later, at a beautiful Indian restaurant in hull (Raj Pavillion) on November 5th, 2021. It didn't take long for Ben to realize he had found someone truly special, and on November 7th, 2021, he asked Bunmi to be his girlfriend, marking the official start of their beautiful romance.
In the weeks that followed, Bunmi was warmly welcomed into Ben's loving family circle. Their genuine hospitality and affection made her feel right at home from the very beginning, leaving her with a heart full of warmth and love.
Their first holiday together was a magical escape to Gran Canaria in December 2021, where they shared unforgettable moments basking in the sun and creating cherished memories.
A year later, it was Ben's turn to be welcomed into Bunmi's loving family, who embraced him with open arms, recognizing his kindness and respectfulness. Their acceptance only deepened the bond between them, affirming the love they shared.
In 2022, amidst their blossoming romance, Bunmi and Ben shared another memorable milestone: their first concert together. They attended a performance by the Nigeria artist Chike, where they were swept away by the enchanting melodies of his album "Boo of the Booless," creating memories that would forever be etched in their hearts.

As they journeyed through life together, Ben introduced Bunmi to his passion for rugby, particularly his beloved Hull KR. Despite their shared love for each other, there was one rivalry they couldn't quite agree on—football. Ben, a die-hard Liverpool fan, successfully persuaded Bunmi to switch her allegiance from Manchester United to Liverpool, cementing their playful banter and shared passion for the game.
Then, on October 6th, 2023, against the breathtaking backdrop of Gran Canaria once again, Ben took Bunmi's hand and asked her to be his forever. With his family by their side, their love story reached new heights as they embraced the promise of a lifetime together.
